Summer all year round – who doesn’t dream about that? MC-Travel offers a tour where you will have the opportunity to ride your motorcycle in summer and sunshine, even in October. For this tour, we have planned eight nights at hotels and departure from a major European airport.
Florida is known as the biker paradise with beautiful stretches of coast, exciting cities and, not least, the tourist magnets Key West, the Everglades, Disney World, Sea World and Kennedy Space Center.
It is also in Florida two of the world’s largest motorcycle rallies take place, Daytona Bike Week in March and Biketober Fest in October.
We have planned our route so that we are going to see some of the greatest gems of Florida, and we are also going to attend the party at the Biketober Fest.

Day 1.
We arrive in Miami and go to our hotel. We provide transport to the hotel, which is located near the motorcycle rental company and the airport. After the long flight, it is nice to be able to relax a bit before the motorcycle tour starts.
Day 2.
When we have picked up our motorcycles at 9 o’clock, we head for Key West for our first overnight stay. Key West, the southernmost point of the USA, is known for Ernest Hemingway and for the lovely relaxed atmosphere. We come by Sloppy Joe’s Bar, one of the most famous bars in the USA. Of course, there are also other exotic “watering places”, there is, i.a., a lovely restaurant milieu at the harbour.
Day 3.
We make for the city of Naples where we have our next overnight stay. On the way we pass through the Everglades, this enormous shallow area that is actually a river. Here, along the road, there are many offers of sails, and we are going to make use of one of these. During this excursion we are going to see alligators, tortoises and lots of birds.
Day 4.
From Naples we go to Orlando where we have two overnight stays. Here, you will have the opportunity to spend the next day visiting one of the numerous attractions in the area. Please be aware that no matter what you choose – Kennedy Space Center, Disney World or one of the many other attractions – it will take at least a day.
Day 5.
Tour of your own choice. Our guide will be of service to you with suggestions.
Day 6.
We go further north to the old Spanish city St. Augustine, which is the oldest city in Florida and at the same time one of the most beautiful and exciting cities. We will go for a guided tour through the city with one of the numerous ”tourist trains”.
Day 7.
We are now going along the coast down the old Route A1A. We have plenty of time before the arrival in Daytona Beach, and we are going to see the Boot Hill Saloon at Ormond Beach. We are also going to visit the world’s largest Harley-Davidson dealer, Bruce Rossmeyer, in the vicinity. The party at Daytona Beach has started, and in the evening we are going to Main Street.
Day 8.
Now it is time to go back to Miami to return our motorcycles. We have a long ride ahead of us, and we recommend an early start so we will have time to enjoy the tour back to Miami. We go via A1A down to Fort Pierce and then continue via Florida Turnpike, a toll road that takes us round the cities of West Palm Beach and Ft. Lauderdale, before we arrive in Miami.
Day 9.
Dependent on the time of departure, we may have time to go downtown Miami, or maybe we just want to enjoy the last day at Miami Beach. MC-Travel hopes that you have had a fantastic experience on our Florida tour and looks forward to offering you one of our other exciting motorcycle tours.
