It is a matter of enjoying life on the road through all the beautiful things we so rarely get to see. The joy of riding is the motivating force. Because, as a travel participant put it very descriptively, we are on a holiday – not on the run.

Travelling by motorcycle is not just a question of getting from A to B. It is also a mental travel, a travel under foreign and interesting skies, and a travel where new bonds of friendship are tied and adventures are shared. After the daily routes, there is always time to share the impressions of the day.

During our tours, the daily routes are never so long that it will prevent anybody from keeping up, and we will have time to visit the planned attractions.

Wherever possible, we will avoid the large roads – the history always shows to better advantage on the small roads.

Travelling by motorcycle makes demands on the organiser as well as the participants. MC-Travel works very hard at making use of local knowledge when we plan our tours.

We have carried through most of the tours ourselves, before we bring guests along. In this way, we can focus on the best experiences on the way.

On our tours, there will always be at least one English-speaking guide who will act as group leader and problem solver, and he will also make sure that everybody makes it on time.

The guide starts the day by informing about the route and the attractions of the day, distributing maps and ensuring in general that the group is well-prepared for the tour of the day. He will also tell about the area, we are travelling through. MC-Travel always makes a point of making ourselves acquainted with the history of the places we are going to visit.

After the daily tour, the guide will briefly go through the events of the day and will also be glad to offer suggestions for a place to dine in the evening.

On our tours, we make use of an accompanying car with room for luggage as well as a couple of passengers.

The luggage will be handed over to the guests at the accompanying car upon arrival to the hotel and is to be returned to the car before we set out on next day’s tour.
In the accompanying car we always carry soft drinks, a little oil for the motorcycles and other necessary basic equipment.
Please notice that on our weekend tours in Europe there is no accompanying car.
 
Our hotels are mostly ’Best Western’ or the like. All hotels have three stars or more. All hotels are booked in advance and are carefully selected according to the route.
 
In case of an irreparable mechanical breakdown of your hired motorcycle, you are guaranteed another motorcycle within 48 hours. We have arranged the best possible insurance of the motorcycles, and the payment of this is included in the given price. On our tours to the USA, the motorcycles are never more than two years old.
 
We have not included the cost of petrol consumption in our prices for the tours of MC-Travel. We do not want to bind our guests to the planned route and fixed petrol stations if they prefer to make detours from the route or to go solo from one hotel to another.
 
There are no hidden extra charges on the tours of MC-Travel, and it always appears from our itinerary what you have paid for.
